Chechnya and Georgia are not real wars, chechnya was a guerilla war. Georgia, was a minor war. Russia's weaknesses got papered over in those wars, so the Russian military heads had to reason to change their military doctrines, now vs. NATO 21st century tech and doctrine, Russian doctrine and tanks fail. couple that with corruption with hollowed out the Russian army in many ways.

Putin's days are not only numbered but so is Russia's , Putin's actions will have great effects on the Russian federation, I forsee after the war is over , post Putin Russia has lost the war, Political economic and social chaos in Russia. Something similiar to 1917 all over again. which will last for a few years. I dont think it will be a civil war, but it will be the breakdown of law and order, in Russia, collapse of the Russian economy, many PMCs and militias popping up all over the place and being the law and order of the area, power plants break down, many areas of Russia without power and internet, criminals , anyone with the gun and can organize become the new rule of law. Millions of Russian refugees will flee to their neighbours many will die when winter sets in and they get stuck at the borders in the dead of winter out int he open. with inadequate winter clothing and heating. Millions of Russians will die from this time of chaos which will last a few years, not only due to murder but also to the breakdwon of transport infrastructure, and the Russian ruble becoming worthless, Russian economy effecitvely becomes a barter economy where USD EUro UK pounds, Chinse Yuan and crypto are accepted and Russian ruble is toilet paper which makes food expensive and valuable , also millions of pensioners will lose their pensions and have to cope with hunger and bad winters. Im not surprised if UN Central Asians, Chinese and NATO troops are forced to deploy to Russia to maintain peace and order . and to stop the massive flow of refugees to their countries.

  13. well this video assumes the Chinese navy is competent and has formidable ships, however from what I hear, the Chinese navy and air force while better disciplined and less corrupt than their Russian counterparts they suffer from: 1. lack of combat experience . 2. Centralized Soviet style military doctrine. 3. Chinese ships copied Russian and Soviet designs however have been made on the cheap and made fast which have compromised damage control systems. Hey does it seem familiar to the current Russian navy or ships like the Moskva. 4. Chinese air force and navy are trained by the Russians, need I say more. 5. Also Chinese hadnt had a major war since the one month short Sino Vietnam war of 1979 which the Chinese armed forces performed badly. The Chinese never had a succesfful naval campaign in the last several hundred years. I think while the Chinese navy heavilly outnumbers the Japanese, the Japanese will much punch above its weight , and not only hold back the Chinese navy and air forces but also savage it, and when the US pac fleet comes in...its GOOD NIGHT IRENE for the Chinese navy and air force.

  15. and also not only does ukraine heavilly outnumber the Russians but also add in the force mulitipliers that Ukraine has highly motivated high morale, troops, know their home terrritory, better tactics, armed with the latest ATGMs from NATO, bit better managed logistics, good coordination better military leaders, superior intel and you compare that to the Russians who have: low morale low motivation, poorly trained, poor coordination , no unified military coommand, poor morale , mismanaged bad logistics, poor military leaders, more fragile political situation the only things superior for the Russians are artillery, navy and air power.

If Russia cannot economically support the war, then war is over, and Ukraine can go over the counterattack.

Even if Russia walks away from this war with 20 percent of Ukrainian land blustering about victory in the Ukraine war, the war will not be seen as a victory esp. after suffering around 1 million casualites in 3 years tens of thousands of kaput military vehicles. Russian military prestige in the gutter and the fact the Russians had to call in help from the North Koreans to help defeat the Ukrainians will make the Russians feel that they did not win in the war, esp. with the 20 percent of Ukraine that is mostly ruins they have to rebuild. I think Russia will go into some sort of civil war after the war is over even if they quote on quote "win" the war. as the Russian elites blame Putin for leading them to this kind of humiliation. along with a whacked economy and the Europeans still hostile to teh Russians. and many Russian PMCs or private armies that can resist if Putin tries to do a purge to secure his power post war. Putin will blame his subordonates for his mistakes, and his elites have their own PMCs take on Putin.

  25. USA moved fast thru iraq and Kuwait during the 91 desert storm and 2003 Iraq campaigns, due to a number of factors namely 1. superior training leadership and coordination. 2. Coaltion tank rushes were well coordinated with coaltion infantry. 3. Coaltion had air superiority, and support aircraft ranged at will over the battlefied. 4. Iraqi air defenses were well suppressed before the coaltion attacked. 5. and the Coalition had a massive technological superioirty over the Iraqis. and I would like to point out that in the 2003 invasion of Iraq , the US lost a few M1A1s and as I could remember a US massed helicopter attack was driven off by Iraqi air defenses. but the USA conquered iraq in a month with minimial losses. and the M1A1s lost were the result of the US tanks outrunning their infantry support and being hit by mobile Iraqi anti tank teams (on motorcycles and civilian vehicles). Looks like the Russians in Feb 2022 tried to emulate the US tank runs in Iraq but failed very badly. A year later I see the Russian army degraded devolving , not even achieving air superiority over Ukraine despite outnumbering the Ukrainian air force by a scale of ten. arguably having technologiacal superiority over the ukrainians. and overall numerical manpower and vehicular superiority. nad having at least 10X the industrial strength vs. ukraine and surprisingly and embarassingly , the Russians lost 50 percent of the territory their conquered from Ukraine from Feb to april 2022.

Also good leadership and coordination for the Ukrainians using a decentralized command and control system early in the war. The Russians tried to do mass tank attacks early in the Ukr war but it ended in disasters, the Russians outran their logistics and resulted in Russian tanks running out of fuel whichi resulted in lots of Russian tank abandons. and out of fuel Russian tanks or low fuel tanks turned into sitting ducks for ATGMs.

The Iraqis also did mass tank attacks on the Iranians early in the Iran Iraq war of the 1980s and these were successful due to Iranians officer corps being purged and them replaced by inexperienced troops, many of them students, despite the Iranians having superior tanks like the chieftain, they got slaughtered by the iraqis equipped with T-62s and 55s, Later these Iraqi mass tank attacks became dangerous since the Iranians got a lot of RPG-7s, Saggers from the Chinese and North Koreans and used them in mobile hunter killer teams on motorcycles. and jeeps.

Olympic would take several more months to finish and the UK ANZAC allied reserves would have been sent to the battle . Im not surprised if the US accepts KMT Chinese troops to fight in Kyushu. Japan post war is administered by the USA Kyushu and Honshu, Shikoku , Okinawa, while USSR administers Hokkaido. Honshu and Shikoku are given to local Japanese administration in 1949 US admin of Okinawa , Iwo Jima and Kyushu are not given back until 1992. The Soviets never give back Hokkaido and turn Hokkaido into a Soviet oblast , all Japanese in Hokkaido are forcibly deported to Japan. and Hokkaido is resettled with Soviet citizens. Also large Soviet forces are stationed in Hokkaido. Japan SDF is stronger and bigger during the cold war and better armed. larger number of US troops are stationed in Japan. to confront a possible Soviet invasion, there is national conscription of all Japanese males age 18 and above for compulsory military service similiar to West Germany.

  41. my view: operation olympic is a shit show USA captures teh southern part of the island but loses a substantial amount of men , equipment and ships in the process. The Americans are surprised by the amount of resistance they got from the Japanese plus the thousands of planes the Japanese threw at the Americans. as the Americans thought the Japanese air forces have been rendered neutered. Operation coronet does not happen, instead Japan is blockaded subjected to daily bombings and pressured to surrender. its nayv is sunk and fishing fleets attacked, also fire bombings of rice fields and forests. farms in an effort to starve Japan to submission. The Japanese gov probably surrenders in 1947 or 1948 after extensive famines ravage Japan. The Soviets then invade Manchuria, Kuriles Sakhalins declaring war on Japan. as the Japanese are about to accept USA unconditional peace terms. USA warns USA not to invade Hokkaido. Faced with this Japan surrenders. HIstory is preety much the same as what happened in OTL 1945. However the difference is that USA does not give back Okinawa and southern Kyushu back to Japan until 1972 and Southern Kyushu has extensive AMerican military bases more than OTL Also USA is more vengeful here in this timeline and more Japanese military and civilian leaders are tried and hanged.

I think with a new trump presidency peace will come to Ukraine in mid to late 2025 with Russia annexing 20 percent of Ukraine, Ukraine not joining the EU and NATO. lifting of all sanctions on Russia, unfreezing of all its assets. In return Ukraine gets hundreds of billions of USD in rebuild aid, Ukraine military allowed to rebuild. DMZ across the Russia Ukraine contact line manned by UN and NATO troops in what is the largest UN troop deployment in history. Long term will be better for Ukraine than Russia. Even if Zelensky steps down or loses the elections, any Ukrainian gov in power will be hostile to Russia. while Ukraine wont be going to NATO or EU anytime soon, there will be defense pacts between Ukraine and the major powers of Europe namely UK< France , Germany , Poland, maybe even Sweden and Finland. and the Russian army has proven itself to be a peacock incompetent army who got humiliated by a Ukraine with 10X less the economy and military than Russia. I dont think Putin will be attacking any country in the next decade. or more.

Yep the Russian army really blundered into this one, very simliar to the winter war of 1940. and the Russian army currently is a huge elephnat with arthritis and can only do limited offensives and cannot win the war. so is scaling down its objectives to like only the Donbass, LOL. in fact, I htink the Ukrainians are in a bit better positions the Russians have run out of reserves, they cant call up general mobilization since PUtin might get kicked out and you are only throwing in even more poor quality soldiers into the meatgrinder. The Ukr army stil has tens of thousands of reserves being trained and the Ukr army will soon go into counter offensive, the Russian army is a good target to be hit by a major knockout blow offensive and can collapse a major portion of their army similiar to what happened to the German army in Bagration 44. Im thinking this will happen in the next month or two. However I do think Putin with his army collapsing will probably use massive amounts of chemical weapons to stop the offensive then on to peace talks. and in the peace talks for the Russians the war is lost but Putin still waves around his nukes and chems to try to get what he wants. but his army is gone. Probably suffered a 25 percent loss. I think the peace will end up with the Russians keeping part of the Donbass. a withdrawing from the rest of Ukraine. many of teh sanctions will end. but some will remain. Also Ukraine will not recognize Donbass and Crimea both of which will be annexed by Russia. Tensions still bad between Russia and Ukraine, and NATO gives assurances, that they will intervene if Ukraine gets attacked again. putin still keeps power and tightens up his control over Russia, millions of Russians fleet from the country and refugee to Europe and North America, Austrralia. Many Russian soldiers dont go back to Russia and refugee in Europe.

The Ukrainians repelled the Russian probe with many Russian losses. and even now according to ISW, Russian arty superiority is only 2 or 3 to 1 on average compared to before with 6 or more to 1. the Russians are running out of ammo,so much they have to source from the North Koreans and even have to bring out antiquated T-55 tanks from storage . and NATO is minimally supporting Ukraine and the Ukrainians have given a bloody nose to the Russians and are holding them back having inflicted 800K casualties in nearly 3 years of war withstanding the full force of the Russian military. which 85 percent of its current standing army is deployed vs. Ukraine , and half of those casualites in 2024 alone. its that bad. the Russian army is totally mismanaged throughout this war.

In the even of war, Indonesian economy would crash. possibly collapse from the embargoes I dont think the Aussies would actually invade Indo territory since there is no point in taking land from them but repel an invasion. I can see in the event of a Indo economic collapse there will probably be a coup to remove the current regime and its back to business again.
