"A witness was double parked, I want a mistrial!"

@hannewoldeck2123 I heard a list of tabloid headlines mentioned, but they should have entered the entire paper into evidence "Johnny Depp Beats wife" next to " Elvis alien love child runs for president".

I've known a couple of people like this and they leave a trail of chaos and confusion wherever they pass.

Pretty soon, this judge is going to pass sentence. Then she is going out to celebrate with her lawyer friends and they will laugh and make toasts. Darrell will be meeting his new life partner about that that time.
3
Discovery and depositions should go on for about 2 years. A LOT will come up that the police could not get.
3
@bellesouth3052 You can owe more than you have at the end of a lawsuit. Future earnings can be in play.
3
@paulbryden4006 We share language and incompetence; in both countries, jurors are shuttled about like cattle.

It's hard to STOP a narcissist from taking the stand and torpedoing their own case. See: Kim Blandino

@davidshaw577 Closing arguments will be a treat.
3
@deirdrepasko9965 There are lawyers working on that right now.
3
There's always pole dancing.

@brianbrooking496 Like that hasn't been a work-in-progress for some time. Why do you think he just started hiring scrappy lawyers?

"We the People", are the first words of our Constitution because The People are the source of its authority. The People are not a branch of government, we are the very PURPOSE that the government exists and their source of legitimacy. If we cannot have a fair, verifiable election. We have the power to demand a special election on the people's terms. If Biden can win a fair election, I'll send congratulations. But if the republic is to survive we need to have faith in it. We do not have to riot and destroy, we only need to STOP. Demand a special election and in every state that refuses, we stop. We stop providing goods and services, we close the doors of our shops, we stop delivering by truck. We stop buying their products. This is not a boycott, it is a general strike to enforce the people's demands and remind the states of the SOURCE of their authority. Their authority was lent to them for OUR mutual benefit. We must be able to trust that that authority IS being used for our benefit.

@EllerthePeridot Now we'll never solve the muffin mystery.
2
Yes, she was played and now her career depends on convincing everyone else.
2
She knows nothing about movies, but she stayed at a Holiday Inn Express last night.
2
Jury abuse.
2
A troll post on Reddit is as important as graffiti on a bathroom wall.
2
@Cyric151 I'm like "yes, there were scandal headlines in print before her op-ed, and yet, his career continued until the op-ed."
2
Borders are made by bayonets. They are being drawn right now.
2
@show_me_your_kitties They are not being charged, they are being sued. That symbolic 100k probably wont cover the legal costs.
2
Cash your rubles fast they are losing value.

@tinameyer7080 OJ Simpson was found liable for the deaths of Goldman and Simpson AFTER being tried and found "not guilty". They have enough to get it into a court and the court can decide the merits. Cases are decided by judges and juries, not by commenters like you or I.
2
@paulbryden4006 Indeed the evidence is what juries have to work with, be it physical evidence or testimony evidence. In the US a jury is the SOLE "finder of fact" based upon the evidence and can give any evidence whatever weight, importance or lack of importance as they see fit. Usually, if your case brings BS evidence, the jury treats it like BS. It is up to the each side to determine strategy and present evidence to support their theory. The judge is there (mosty) to arbitrate fairness and maintain adherence to the accepted rules. The parties agree on the jury instructions given by the judge and the jury chooses who or what to believe. In many states, if the jury just tosses logic and reason, the judge can change the verdict. I have no idea how Virginia courts work, specifically. We have at LEAST 51 different ways to dispense justice, 102+ if you differentiate between a crime and a tort.
2
I saw a case where fake evidence was submitted in a divorce case. He is in prison right now for forgery. In the US, cases take many years to get to a trial.
2
@Matthew People with signs= protest, people with guns=revolution. Trying to set a building on fire with people in it is not a property crime. You do you.
2
"Overruled" is a word you hear after a bad objection. It's been quite a circus.
2
@justinedruiz8994 Truth
2
We do have to live with our choices.
2
Now they know what to rule out.
2
But, what about the muffins?
2
@shaimaaabuamer She wanted a team that was a good fit.
2
Is this a screen test?

Paper shredding

Refuse to seat almost half of Congress and kiss the Repubic Goodbye.
1
It's a lot smaller than it was a month ago, but no better.
1
Wait, now tabloid hit-piece headlines are evidence?
1
I figure shes scribbling psycho drawings of witnesses and daggers etc.

Once your career is ash, it's OK to play with matches. Only one of them has anything to lose and it isn't JD; she made sure of that. She should have taken the money and STFU.
1
@daniellew3260 She thinks she is smarter than she is; if she tells an obvious lie to the jury, they will only hear "wawa wah" after that.
1
@hart3254 The press will say that he won by a landslide and it'll be criminalized to say otherwise.
1
I'm beginning to see why he paid so much to be rid of her. She should have taken the money and then STFU.
1
Don't make eye contact; she'll steal your soul.
1
@rickmartin9420 "President Harris" is not a solution.
1
Courts normally HATE making perjury charges except when a witness in a criminal case stiffs the prosecution. I think that since this entire case has been based on perjured testimony, and tied up the court for weeks, MAYBE the state will step up and enforce the law to protect the court system. If perjury becomes commonplace, then no testimony can be trusted. She just might have stepped in it.
1
He got a super fast tan
1
@jdelavega46 This will be a mini-series of some sort.
1
Russian Sanctions! Where will the political class get their Beluga Caviar?
1
I've never met with him and, like him, I am not a member of the AMA, but I'll go out on a limb here and say that he has some serious issues.

Perhaps it was 20 Republican members of congress.
