  1. I have to disagree on the Galactica. Actually I disagree with your choice of the crappy new version from that awful remake of a series. Sure the original one was trashy, but thats exactly what you expect from such a series and not some mystic "Cylons are everywhere and they look like humans" junk (which was invented so they didnt have to build robot suits for the enemies). I am severely disappointed by the lack of the Romulon fleet, because it includes the Scimitar ... and also cloaking.

Sorry, but I have to disagree with your "logic" on Charlize Theron, because even though it is a feminist dogma that women should be allowed to do the same stuff as men, portraying a serial killer IN THOSE LOOKS YOU SHOWED should basically disqualify her from this list. This is about "sexiest" and that basically requires commitment to "that side of the medal" 100% of the time.

  10. The comments given about "Der Untergang" are WRONG ... because Hitler wasnt really like that. If he was "just a man" he would have tried a diplomatic solution, but he was a "lunatic on a mission" who thought himself to be the greatest military leader of all time ... fighting a war with brigades who were at less than full strength and then blaming those men for failing ... if they had to retreat due to superior forces coming up against them. Please stop trying to make Hitler into "a nice guy".

  14. I'd say you forgot DUNE (the David Lynch one ... which is the only one worth watching) ... the extended TV version. Even though the movie and its visuals are brilliant, cutting it down for a 3:4 TV screen completely ruins it. The extended duration doesnt make up for the lost visuals and the "intro" - while necessary for the uneducated who didnt read the book - was totally stupid ... earning the movie its director of "Alan Smithee".

  17. +Eustace Stritchers There is zero need to send down troopers if you are fighting a "planet vs. planet" battle with an alien race. There are tons of asteroids in the system of Klendathu ... just drop a bunch of them (more than the bugs can shoot down with their AA) and watch the planet become covered with a cloud of dust and freeze over. The bugs should have won with that tactic ... but then there should have been enough defensive firepower to never have an asteroid hit earth in the first place ... which eliminates the attack that killed Rico's family.

  22. The Transformers in the movies are completely unbelievable/ridiculous, because the humanoid shape has far too many parts. CGI has gone far too wild with that one and they should have stuck to simpler models like in the cartoons.

  26. That thing isnt really "fictional" because there are some military helicopters which closely resemble it. The "skills" of Blue Thunder are a bit exaggerated ... but not by much. Oh and this list is for fictional craft.

  27. Come on ... the worst thing Britney Spears ever said was her endorsement of George W. Bush on the Iraq war. That was CLEARLY wrong because the reasons Bush gave were absolutely stupid and wrong. Something like "Saddam supporting Al Qaeda"? They would NEVER work together! "Rich kids" and "celebrities" SHOULD have the means to inform themselves well, but far too many do not care.

Iron Man/Avengers should be on the list, because Tony Stark is only a human and "instantly stopping (landing) from super high speed" would still kill him as his flesh and bones would be squished inside the suit. But then it isnt "trying to pass it off as real science" ... which is the reason why Transformers and so on should NOT be on the list either (although I HATE these movies for their stupidly overdone CGI and physics flaws).

  35. Sorry ... REALITY is MUCH worse than anything a Team America sequel could come up with. I mean Donald Trump as a possible president and the NSA listening in on everyone in the world? That is far too dangerous to be trivialised in a funny movie. Oh and it is quite obvious that most sequels would not work because the story arc is finished. "Serenity 2: The Wrath of Niska" is an examplpe of a very very weak story because the whole Niska arc was explored in the series. Maybe if "you" (americans) would stop asking for such BS we would get fewer sequels that suck.
