  133. #10 Far too many movies are ruined because they did not have enough time to show it ... #9 As if every movie has to be about action ... #5 Mushing "historical" figures together which never met and which never had the skills that they are show to have here (plus extrmely stupid design for a submarine) shows why Hollywood needs to be destroyed: NOTHING is sacred and they are destroying myths and legends because they are too lazy to create their own characters.

Movies missing on the list are ALL the new Transformers movies because the CGI is awful and the robot design sucks big time and the 2005 adaptation of Pride & Prejudice, because Keira Knightley cant act any other character than a spoiled little girl from today. Also the movie doesnt have enough time to truly show the story which becomes very clear if you compare the "verbal duel" between Elizabeth and Lady Catherine near the end with the same scene from the 1995 miniseries. Both have exactly the same lines taken directly from the book, but the movie has to deliver them in 5 minutes while the miniseries has 10 ...

Serenity is too flawed with its design (and the inherent problem that one solar system can NOT have a dozen or so inhabitable planets, because they need the same energy from their sun to survive and that requires the same distance to the sun) ... because it would have needed some kind of inter stellar drive too. Stupid details like this CAN ruin a perfectly good story for me, but luckily the characters are strong enough to outweigh this flaw for Firefly.

  143. I am sorry, but Samantha Carter? This is supposed to be a list of BABES ... and thus "attractive females". Sure, she was a female, but attractive? She is as erotically attractive as a stick and wears military outfits all the time. That might make her hot in a gun-crazed USA, but honestly she is just a "reskinned male". The same goes for Seven of Nine whose personality was "interesting", but never true "babe level". Saffron should have been higher, because she managed to be SEDUCTIVE and beautiful. For the same reason Inara should have been on the list.

  148. I thought Godzilla to be pretty funny and "acceptable" for an evenings non-brainy entertainment. The "secret french detachment" was a neat idea, but the "instantly hatching Godzilla babies" were bad. The same is true for "Batman & Robin".

  157. Gene Kelly was at the end of his career anyways and IIRC had to be "convinced" to make Xanadu. It is a great movie with a cheesy story but absolutely epic music and dance numbers.
