  4. Blocking exports of the vaccine especially to Britain will break International Law. If she's on about using Article 122 ? then this is an internal market clause and is irrelevant. The EUs vaccine fiasco could go from bad to worse very quickly. And to think.... Back in December 2020 Von De Leyen stated that "This was the EUs moment" ..... Lol.

  22. The EU is not a Country and therefore not entitled to Diplomatic Immunity. Why des the EU think they should be treated differently/better than everybody else. If the EU wants Diplomatic Immunity then be prepared to lose it for all it's member States.

  26.  @dge5348  The UK and AZ haven't teamed up to con the EU what rubbish. The EU is paying less than £1 a jab from AZ and paying 25-30 times as much from Pfizer and Moderna. AZ are doing the EU a favour by knocking them out at cost and not ripping the EU off like the US Pharma Giants. This jab was bought and paid for by the British tax payer and designed in one of our Universities. The US pulled out of the UN and WTO under Trump and as such aren't breaking any laws by doing that. Where as the EU is. The EU could make a law that it's legal to kill all blondes in it's territory, it doesn't make it legally legit on the World stage.. The WHO have already come out and slammed the EU over their antics.

  29. AstraZeneca produce a vaccine, sell it at cost. Give the rights to manufacture it to multiple vaccine producers and the EU decide to attack them and ban it's export.. WOW EU. You really know how to tell the World how great you are.

  32.  Aris Georgopoulos  I don't buy that 21 million vaccines were sent to thee UK. The figures just don't add up. I can agree that we've had around 10 million Pfizer jabs. But as far as I know, we've had no AstraZeneca jabs from the EU. AZ were stockpiling the vaccine in the UK back in November and we know they produce 2 million a week in the UK. If you take all December, January, February and now we're at the end of March. That makes 32 million AZ jabs produced in the UK. We've also had 5 million AZ jabs from India. That makes in total, the UK has had near to 47 million jabs. We've jabbed half our population, which is around 30 million. So the question is, where have the other 17 million jabs gone that the UK are meant to have? The numbers don't stack up.

  33.  @isacadc4552  It has been reported. Firstly it was 29 million doses. About 13 million were for export the rest for the EU. The thing is, they weren't "hidden" they were waiting final checks. Maybe instead of following what your dear leaders say in the EU you should do your own research. AZ is the only not for profit vaccine on the market. Ten times cheaper than the Pfizer jab btw. It's the only vaccine maker to allow other vaccine makers to produce it's vaccine. Perhaps you should be grateful that there's actually a Pharma Company out there not making £Billions from this Pandemic and actually wants to pull the World out of this crisis for the betterment of mankind. Perhaps you should be more grateful to the UK for allowing AZ to produce this vaccine in the EU in the first place as it was made in one of our Universities at our tax payers expense. Oxford has the rights on this jab.

Especially when the Orkneys and the Shetland Isles want to leave Scotland due to the SNPs policies... They'll end up like ROI after Brexit and a no deal. A complete basket case. They'll be begging to rejoin the Union after a few years. And when they do, There will be no Barnet formula and no favoured status as we move 100,000 State backed jobs back to the rest of the UK.

  39.  @ottomaier8219  Then we scrap the WA, problem solved. The US can't drop sanctions on us. We've applied to join CCTP, Biden also wants to join CCTP. This will give us a defacto FTA with the US. Unless Biden rules out joining CCTP, which will strengthen the hands of China, which is something else he doesn't want. Biden also wants us to join the Quad and wants help changing the G7 to the G10. Biden can't do all that on his own. He needs us and he knows it, that's why he's coming out with much warmer words now he's in office.

If the US joins CPTTP and we join CPTTP then we have a FTA with them by default. The US has already asked us to join the Quad, our answer is, what's in it for us? The US wants to make the G7 in to a G10 and want us to help in achieving that. He wants that to box China in with more voices on the World stage. China isn't joining the CPTTP, many of the other members have already rejected the idea. I'm in the 21'st Century, feel free to catch up and come join me.

Acceptance requires other members to allow it and too many of the other members won't allow China to join. It's not rocket science.. Nobody wants China to join the G7, but India will be one of those extra ones. It's a democracy, it's on the verge of signing a FTA with the UK. Having knocked back the EU of course. Russia will not be invited to the G7 either... Boy oh boy, your very misinformed and confused. Don't you get in real politic in the EU anymore, is it all nanby panby rubbish to fill you idiots with useless crap so you can't see the big picture and ask real questions.   42. The EU wanted AstraZeneca to release the contract, so they did. And it proved that the EU didn't have a leg to stand on and were spreading dissinfo in order to cover for their own incompetence in acquiring vaccine supplies. I'd say, vote these people out. But you can't. I feel sorry for the people of the EU. You're led by donkeys and there's nothing you can do about it.

  47.  @zipz8423  We produce 2 million vaccines a week. We have 3 other vaccines going through approval, they're already stockpiling them. The Novavax vaccine completed stage 3 approval last week. That will also be produced in the UK same as the other two. The EU's only vaccine is made by an American company and developed by a Turk. I'm just hoping that the EU take AZ to Court, so they can laugh at them too. The truth is we have more vaccines than we need. We has 10 million vaccines stockpiled before we even started rolling out the jab. Why do you think we're all over here laughing at the EU as it's spits is dummy out like a spoilt child?. When we've already vaccinated nearly 10 million people. You Sir, need to get informed.
