  2. Thought: if you're a woman, in a high-paying career, and you want to have a man that makes more than you, what's stopping you from getting a lower paying job? Bills? Try getting a roommate or moving back in with your parents? What's stopping you? If you want to keep the job, but your man makes less than you, do so! But keep in mind, if you get married and have kids, you're going to put your earning potential on pause. He doesn't.
