  1. On the whole eating thing, I find it excessive (to the point of possibly being actually toxic) to just never ask her. My recommendation is to ask her once. She gets one chance to name some place or type of food. If she says she doesn't care or she doesn't know, she's held to that and she doesn't get to complain about what you choose. You've done your part by asking her once.
