  1. I wanted to get married. I was that unusual guy in high school that didn't want to do the whole party thing, I wanted a family instead. That didn't change when high school was over. At 24, I had dated a bunch of girls and all of them were bad choices on my part. I decided I'd take a year and not date. That was 21 years ago now. Do I want to get married? Absolutely. But I can't trust anyone enough to take that risk. I struggle to trust anyone enough to be a roommate, much less put my entire life at financial and/or emotional risk. Will I get married? Hell has never frozen over before, I wouldn't expect that to happen now.
