  1. Not from my point of view. I'm an over-the-road driver and I've never been busier in my career spanning 40 years. Not only that, but there are more trucks on the road than I've ever seen during that career. And if that isn't enough, the shippers I deal with tell me they're shipping more material than they ever remember. EVER remember. All that in spite of record high fuel prices. All of the above points to the opposite of a slowing economy.
