This is a joke there is no way that the UK will allow the EU to control their laws, finances or force them into a level playing field or give up their fishing grounds to the EU this is a no deal scenario each side won't give in and the UK really is in the right the EU commission is pi*sed they have lost control of the UK and their money, what do you think?

@quigley61 if the UK is an independent sovereign then they control their own laws and borders and waters with no outside control of a foreign government what don't you understand, there are no independent sovereign nations in the world that have foreign governments dictating their laws or control of their borders and waters the truth is that the EU is desperate to control the UK they need UK fishing grounds because the EU has over fished the Mediterranean and are now cutting quotas by upto 70% so this means that if the EU has the same rights as now all those fishing boats will head to UK fishing grounds and destroy them to so I believe the UK is right in standing it's ground these are not red lines these are the fundamental rights of an independent sovereign nation.

@tomeyckmans9389 I suggest you read the financial reports from the EU Indonesia and south America are the the prime retail markets in the world there economies are starting to grow and the UK has made trade agreements with some of them and is developing more along with the commonwealth countries that is why the EU wants to control the UK with a level playing field because that will destroy the EU financially.

@maddwarf7976 all other deals with othe non EU members do not have these clauses they didn't ask Canada to sign up to a level playing field or allow the ECJ to overrule and dictate Canadian laws or their ample fishing grounds did they? they know the UK will thrive trading with the rest of the world which is why they need them tied to the ECJ and a level playing field.

@tomeyckmans9389 well being in a unique position of knowledge with my job I know the difference between the truth and EU lies and when Italy leaves and the Germans have to cover the cost just like now with Brexit we will see whose lies were lies and whose was the truth won't we.

I'm Italian and the EU's incompetence with the CFP has decimated the fishing grounds in the Mediterranean and has had to cut quotas by upto 80% for the next 10 years which is why they want the UK's fishing grounds either keeping them tied to the EU's CFP or keeping quotas the same as they are now for 10 years which will devastate the British fishing grounds and then they will head back to the Mediterranean to do it all again I know how corrupt the EU is especially in my position and the outside interested parties so I say time for the EU to fall and then we can rebuild it as it was ment to be sovereign nation with a trade deal not a political dictatorship.
