I dont believe any of the demands are part of any deal the EU has now or in the future and goes completely against the UK being a sovereign nation in charge of it's own destiny, meaning the UK leaves on WTO and the EU lose even more

You can see what is happening and the cost of this crisis, why would the UK want to continue paying into the EU and being part of a rescue package that we will not benefit from?

@alexwars8327 as the price of EU goods goes up, they will be replaced by cheaper goods from countries the UK goes on to have trade deals with...,so not only will the EU lose membership fees and contributions, but you lose trade from a profitable market... The UK is starting to prioritise trade deals with other nations......

@alexwars8327 it may well be 6% but on the day after we left, we became the EU biggest export market for some very high value goods. 20% of German cars at in 2019 was valued at 67 billion.....
