I don't think the mom went to far but I think she waited too long to intervene. How a child turns out has a lot to do with how the parents raise them. My child wouldn't even get to the point of putting metal into their face. And if they randomly came home with piercings they would have to remove them and deal with the consequences. I would also figure out why they felt the need to get face piercings and explain how those type of choices can actually have bad affects on their futures and lives. This situation also shows why you need to be super involved in your childrens lives and give them the support, stability and love they need so they don't go looking for it in these evil communities.

@thomaszielinski4326 old fashioned grounding and they would have 2 choices either remove the piercings or 2 hours a night of reading and writing out scripture. My man and I also aren't extremely religious but when people are making bad choices that are going to affect their lives they need more god to help remind them why we need to stay on the right path and not stray. Every time I started to go down the wrong path when I was younger the bible would truly help me get back on the right path. I would also do a lot of self reflecting to figure out what I was doing wrong as a parent for the child to feel the need to get face piercings and what I would need to do or change to be better for the child or children. I do want to say that I would go into the situation with love and not just pure anger, more so disappointment, but I would still show care and love and explain to them that everything I was doing is because I do love them and want the best for them and their futures.
