I don't wish homelessness on anyone at all but throughout my childhood I was homeless a few times and even ended up in the woman's shelter with my mom during Christmas due to her bad choices... I think these experiences are a huge reason why I am so extremely appreciative for what I have now and for how my life has turned out. This is also why I appreciate my amazing man so much too because I got first hand experience of actual bad men and why choosing a good man is so important. All the chaos as a kid made me crave stability as an adult. Not having to worry about being homeless is truly a gift that a lot of people don't even notice they have.
