  1. It all comes down to politics. Policies are being set by politicians and political parties. Right wingers and their associated political parties have become the only people arguing to bring manufacturing out of foreign countries and to bring them back to their home countries that the products are sold in. There is zero enthusiasm for this idea on the left. This is no coincidence.
