  1. No, UBI is a disaster and only ruins every society that tries it. Every society that tries socialism will end up with people doing the bare minimum to receive the socialist benefits and no more. If you give them money with no requirements, you will have the people who normally would be productive just stop being productive.

  2.  @WhenInDarknessSeekTheLight  Socialism is collective ownership to distribute goods. That's exactly what welfare programs and universal basic income is.
