  1. No, UBI is a disaster and only ruins every society that tries it. Every society that tries socialism will end up with people doing the bare minimum to receive the socialist benefits and no more. If you give them money with no requirements, you will have the people who normally would be productive just stop being productive.

  2. I wouldn't say that I liked the Nike ad but I can respect them for at least taking some kind of risk and doing something memorable. Sure they will have to do the usual corporate jargon spin afterwards to calm the internet harpies down afterwards, but I think it's worth it.
