Women test boundaries to see if a man is high value or not. Long before they ever cheat, they will do little things to see if you react. If you don't enforce boundaries, they know that you are weak. Most of the time it is subconscious and they don't even know they are doing it. By the time it gets to the point where they cheat on you or leave you, it's way too late. If a wife cheats on you, the relationship is over. There is ZERO chance you can ever fix it because she doesn't respect you. Taking her back will only prolong the misery. You have to start a relationship from the beginning with clear boundaries and strong leadership with you, as a man, being the leader and not tolerating disrespect and disloyalty.
