  1. Californian here. Taking care of elderly family members. When my dad passes, I'm out of here. The older you get, the more you realize that family is all that really matters. There's garbage you have to put up with everywhere. Even red states have horrible socialist laws and taxes. That being said, some states are better than others. If you have family in a red state, it's probably better to live there.
