  1. Depression is habitual. The more you feed into it, the more it exists for you. At some point you have to make a choice to either ante up or quit acting like a fool. If you choose to stop living the depression lifestyle, all it takes is to start removing one bad habit at a time. For me, I started with depressing music and movies. Then I moved onto starting doing chores and helping other people. You'd be surprised how much your life can improve if you stop hurting yourself.
