  1. At some point, President Trump is going to need to make some hard decisions if he's going to get this spending under control. We're $3 Trillion in a spending deficit. The taxes only cover social security, medicare, medicaid, and the interest. It doesn't cover military spending or anything else. If the tariffs somehow brought in another trillion dollars, which I doubt, it would cover military spending, but it still wouldn't cover the other spending. We'd still be about $2 Trillion short. The only way we're even remotely going to return to a solvent situation is by massively reducing spending. We're talking BILLIONS at a time, not just millions.
