Milo is a bit weird but making fun of Leslie Jones is his right. She is a public figure and he never tweeted pictures of primates at her. He was trolling and would post other people's troll tweets and say things like "No stop guys you shouldn't do this" as a joke, obviously knowing he was spreading it. Trollish but still not doing it himself. Besides, that was 8 years ago.
