  1. Last video is obviously fake in a kitchen. That being said, they would make you pay child support if you did adopt a kid or were in a state that had paternity laws based on time spent as father figure. They call it "paternity by estoppel." Basically if a woman has you step into the father role and the kid pretends that you are the dad, she will argue that you have essentially adopted the child. It's actually a grey area so I would highly recommend that guys completely avoid having a kid call them dad if they aren't sure of paternity. You might be able to get out of it with some lawyering but it's definitely not worth the hassle.
