  1. Judges can't order people to do random things like write papers. Judges can order people to address the court with respect and such but if someone refuses, all they can do is arrest them for contempt. Trying to make them do extra stuff like a school boy is unconstitutional. Trying to punish people for not doing every little thing you want goes against many laws and rulings but it also violates the 8th amendment.
