It's amazing how everyone accuses right-wingers of being conspiracy theorists when most of the false conspiracies of the last decade have come directly from Hillary Clinton.

@noylj1 The definitions change over time. What is indisputable is the fact that fascists were also socialists. These days that makes someone not a conservative, but it didn't in the past. Back then they didn't think of it in terms of personal responsibility and individualism. You had to be a collectivist or you perished. The Nazis took a right-wing approach to socialism where they do a lot of the same things trying to regulate industries and play god with the market, but they also overspent on military funding and were obsessed with thinking their race was superior. Even though the race talk was commonplace, they still hid the fact that they were killing Jews. They knew that the public wouldn't accept genocide. These days it would be much harder for a white country to do something like that because all white people are constantly shamed. They would have to reverse the cultural trends if they wanted to change that. But back to the topic at hand, they had an "Ends justify the means" attitude the same as socialists do, so you're right about that. They did share a lot in common with the left. I think the only main difference was that they used the marxist ideas in the opposite direction. They wanted the majority to be more dominant rather than less.
