  2. "You'd think they'd go after the rich people" No, and I'll tell you why not. They know that rich people don't have much in terms of untraceable goods. Jewelry is easily identifiable with engravings. Guns have serial numbers. Cars would be extremely hard to sell and hide from the authorities. Rich people are much harder to rob than poor people.
