  1. I wonder if anyone has broken down how much of the average dollar that people earn gets taxed. First you get income tax. Then sales tax. Then gas tax. Cigarette tax. Property tax. By the time you add it all up, the average person probably pays 50% in taxes on their average dollar earned.
