  1. I disagree with your premise that prisons don't work. They do work. They have drastically reduced our crime rates. They don't rehabilitate people, but that's not the same thing as not working.

  2. I object to the idea of private owned prisons, but they only exist because the government spends too much money to imprison people. We need to figure out how to get the government to run prisons at a much cheaper rate. Maybe we don't need endless appeals if it costs millions of dollars. Perhaps due process doesn't mean endless process.
