Brainwashing your kids is unavoidable, but mutilating them is. No matter what you do, you pass on your values, behavior, and reactions to your kids. You don't have to hack skin off their genitals. There's no good reason to do it. I've been circumcised at birth and I never asked for it or thought it was a positive in any way. If it wasn't so common I probably would have hated my parents for it.
