We hope that US presence will discourage Putin in attacking. If the deal isn't going to work that is absolutely fine and we wish you the best" That's it. Split without burning bridges. Trump and JD looked like a recruiter taking offense because you had the audacity to reject their job offer

  14. Zelensky asked a legit question. Putin has violated deals before. So why would this mineral deal stop him? And JD gave a non answer because they were caught in a gotcha moment. Instead of handling it with maturity and saying "look, we can't guarantee that the deal will stop Putin from attacking in future, but it might help with reducing the risk", they started gaslighting and screeching DISRESPECT!! Trump handled this like a job recruiter taking offence when you decline their offer.
