  6.  @GCarty80  No. More like huge armies of poorly trained conscripts are equalizer to modern armies. Large numbers of heap expendable trash can compensate quality to a degree. But they are not a game changers. Especially against prepared enemy. In reality relatively small numbers of tanks was destroyed by FPV drones. Majority was destroyed by artillery and anti-tank weapons. And that despite fact that Ukrainians have relatively poor SHORAD. The actual new quality is scale of front line awareness. But it is actually the West who dominate in that zone and basically invented drone surveillance (actual one). FPV drones are just poor man ATGM's. Lancet literally is just a extended range ATGM. Not a drone. Israeli Harpy can literally seek targets on its own. Trophy APS can already take out drones. It is literally nothing new. It actually explained why West start dusting off old short range Anti-Air systems in last decades.

  8. Generally situation is not as bad as it look. Trump is not as much gaining strength, as Biden get visibly old and Democrats should put another candidate, but they can't because of high stakes of the election. Still even if Trump win, he is more unpredictable actor then strictly pro-Russian actor. Meanwhile in Europe largest blow get Liberal and Green parties, whose politic was seen as failure both in response to migration crisis and regard poorly thought green politics. Fall on left is not a big deal, because has some number of noticeably far-Left voters, who still think that USSR exist. Social-Democrats actually even get more mandates. Majority of Center-Right and Far-Right parties are not pro Russian and they gain support as actually more pro-military and more grounded regard internal politics. Even if unfortunate side effect is that few pro-Russian parties gain support. Mostly due to voters being uninformed. Anyway, situation isn't good, but it is also not strictly bad. Especially as even soft supporters of Putin start realizing that Russia basically plan to declare war on the World and fanning Putin would not save them if that happen.
