And all the people saying "fight The Man" now they're The Man.

@apelnkn2230 It's the perfect song for that situation. Strikes just the right tone. I just don't know why Moon is going on about ETF's when he misses the whole point the ETF companies are the ones doing the damage, not the individual stocks. Just glancing over just how top heavy those indexs are in only 6-10 companies (which are already monopolies just no one wants to admit it). And all the little fish drown because they can't borrow.

I would have never made it. But, you look at their system and it's bass ackwards just like Japan. I don't care how "successful" they are. And I've been there and these are really nice countries but they're sacrificing something

I used to like this guy but I'm out.

The wall to wall advertising is the evidence.

I know.

True legends. Then Andy Kaufman shows up for something completely different. Now I can't think of the name of the washed-up lounge singer routine where he refused to break character. Genius.

You could see something you've (probably) never seen before like "Nightmare Alley" the original one. My cable Movies channel has film noir night with movies in the style of "The Maltese Falcon" but relatively unknown. It's a gold mine. I could watch "The Petrified Forest" a couple times a year. Don't want to over do it though.

She's a child. All her mannerisms are childish. Someone else described her as "doing homework on the schoolbus" version of actress. She probably hasn't even seen the original Bugs Bunny's or Cool Hand Luke.

I knew this was going to be the case after the shot with his wife shoveling food into her mouth. You get that driver job you keep your mouth shut especially if you grifted it.

I feel like I'm ahead of the curve watching really good, really niche content. All while not advertising it publicly like reading "Dr Zhivago" at the coffee shop. 90% don't even choose what they consume, they just get steered into it by AI. And they don't even know. I forget the guys name, really popular channel with 26 mil views per video. I never had to watch because everybody else did.

I think Moons an "it's all related" and "it all boils down to one, two or three points" type of person. As am I. You can't go to the well often enough with this type of content.

This is how fast things can go downhill.

I tried. I could never get into it. Same with BB. Even though I know it's great TV, maybe it's the cadence that throws me

Movie that are shown once in a blue moon during a leap year. There's a reason why.

Did anyone else see the "Garden Tool" ad?

It was too early. But it got made so it's a good thing.

lol I got an add for mad max saga. Chris Helmsworth is in all this carp. It's a tell. He was a good Thor and that's about it.

How to use/enjoy AI in the 15 minute interim before it takes over the world.

Perfect popcorn movies. Fun without bring a straight comedy situation movie. They are the type of movies that get you into the theater to see it the first time.

Heartily agree. It didn't take itself too seriously. Popcorn movie. Boom.

Color me shocked

Appalachian coal mining "Lift Sixteen Tons" with Granny Clampett as the girl boss fightn agin The Man

People are sleepwalking. They made "Enemy of the State" with Gene Hackman 20 years ago and people still liked Will Smith then but "it's just a movie..."

A lot of the great ones just play themselves. Tom Hanks as Tom Hanks. John Wayne as John Wayne. This chick is just playing herself, but she won't ever be confused as one of the "great ones". Side note; I'm kind of done with Tom Hanks TBH. His early stuff like "Big" the material was just made for him. It was fun for awhile but he's played out.

Everybody has to pretend it's a masterpiece because that guy R/L died.

@theunraveler It was a perfect meme storm.

Because most people are stupid.

Looks like "Them", "Demolition Man" and "Running Man" all rolled into one with a side order of "Idiocracy".

When it came out I didn't like the way they spun it. The media spun it into a sh1thole. Everything about it gave off a weird vibe and I don't like Douglas so I didn't see it. And I never have. I never saw Breaking Bad either except for snippets. I could tell it wasn't for me with the pregnant pause pacing. But thanks for the write-up appreciate it! I always wondered why it was a cult flick to a lot of people.
