  1. I don't know. Maybe we can elect people to shovel billion of taxpayer $$$ into programs to help people climb out of poverty and give them everything for free (all while providing healthy kickbacks to themselves). It will unfortunately never be enough to overcome self inflicted intellectual poverty. So basically it's a circle. People get out though, they escape and are called "The lucky ones". Which is an insult since luck has nothing to do with it.
