  5. It takes so long to learn this. When I was 18 it was like I was shot out of a cannon, but, I listened to the doubters and there is always a surplus of doubters. Here's another gem "Don't go to XYZ country because everyone there hates Americans".

  9. I own a car and a truck but aspire to carlessness when I find the right situation. The car is a runabout 4 cylinder but I wanted a V-8 so I got the truck since I knew it would be my last one/last chance to own a V-8. I shouldn't have waited so long to get a pick-up. It's one of those purchases I've always talked myself out of. "Do you really need a truck?" Yes. Yes you do.

  11. It's probably just better to move to a best available option in your own country. I don't want to drive, that's one of my criteria and the places with mass transit (USA) are not right for me. My achilles heel moving overseas is I can't afford two residential properties. Nobody talks about it but, you DO need a physical address to claim for tax/legal purposes, bank accounts etc. Digital nomad blogger kids can use their parents house for this, I can't. Work arounds are available but I'm not going to saddle anyone with having my mail sent to their house. But yeah, bouncing around living out of a backpack permanently, that's hard. And what are most people going to do? They are going to have one foot in and one foot out. I think it's a situation where you have to be All-in.

  13. Once I figured it out. They are going to wreck the economy on purpose. Then they're going to say "real socialism has never been tried" and "Capitalism doesn't work". This is all intentional 100%. It's End Game.
