  1. YES, it does matter what HE thinks, what makes her "feelings" more important than his? Why are you shaming him for having standards/preferences? The TRUTH hurts, the more true it is, the more painful it is, if your/her feelings are hurt, then you know what he is saying is TRUE. Everyone cares what others think of them, because that is the VALUE they see in you.

All he gets from it is excessive drama, stress, headaches, money spending.
