  1. These women do NOT HAVE to live in their cars, they CHOOSE to. There are so many government programs for women and children in the U.S., they all could be living in at least an apartment and the government will subsidize them while helping them find a job. There isn't much for men though, you even have veterans that are homeless, they gave 20 years of their lives for the country, just to be tossed aside by that very country. I am a veteran, I'm not homeless but some months are more difficult than others.

  3.  @TheBusySimmer  You said it yourself, you were working. The women living in their cars are not, huge difference in what they can qualify for with no job.

  4. These women are falling through the cracks because they choose to. There are so many programs in the U.S. to help women and children, that these women could be living in an apartment at least. There's not much help for men though.
