I have been a dividend focused investor for a long time. This does not mean I don't own growth stocks, I do. A well rounded portfolio should be a mixture of both categories. One way to minimize the anxiety out of stock market investing, is to make sure you keep a large cash cushion. I invest in the market, but never put all my money in market.

Lisa Angelique Abel is the licensed fiduciary I use. Just research the name. You’d find necessary details to work with a correspondence to set up an appointment.

The thing is that I really don't like making such recommendations. But there are many freelance wealth managers you could check out. I have been working with "Helene Claire Johnson " for a long now, and she's made decent returns. If she meets your discretion, then you could go ahead.

I have seen a lot about FAs and actually want to consult some pro. How did you go about it? Is yours any good?

True, A lot of folks downplay the role of advlsors until being burnt by their own emotions. I remember couple summers back, after my lengthy divorce, I needed a good boost to help my business stay afloat, hence I researched for licensed advisors and came across someone of utmost qualifications. She's helped grow my reserve notwithstanding inflation, from $275k to $850k.

I completely agree. I have been consistent with my profit regardless of the market conditions. I got into the market early in 2019 and the constant downtrends and losses discouraged me, so I sold off. I got back in December 2020 and this time with guidance from an investment adviser who was recommended by a colleague
