6:50 it is not. There are some japanese woman who are traditional and submissive, but it's illusion that all or even most japanese women are so(and obviously there are traditional women in the west). They are just polite and tend to not openly argue with you. And most guys who try to find traditional women in Japan end up dissapointed after they got married and their previously obedient wife slowly starts to become assertive tiger mom/wife. Of course if you seek conservative woman instead of traditional one, you will find plenty there. I just would never understand why would you want one.

@Aladius they are definitely not. Edit: conservatism is basically a movement that tries to conserve practices/values/society/family structure of certain time period. The problem is that almost all people who say they are "conservatives" try to conserve american 50's. And neither society nor family were traditional at this point. Therefore, "conservative women"(almost all of them) are just a domestic feminists(term that I invented) — they want to rule the house, but they don't want to work. They also demand monogamy — you can't have several wives, and if you tell her that you want many kids she will decline to have more than 3 or 5, and maybe will even demand maid/nanny.

@casualstuff3389 you're absolutely wrong and you don't understand traditional marriage. Even if woman keeps the accountant book, she doesn't decide anything. Man has a final word in basically any decisions about spending. It's like she's ceo(regarding house stuff) and he's an owner of the company. Yes, man has to provide, but only 3 things: food, housing and sex. That's all. He obviously doesn't have to give her all the money. Usually women in traditional families didn't work on a paid job, but if they did, they would give almost all or all money to husband, out of which he would give her some if she needs to buy something.

@casualstuff3389 I don't know about asia, but as far as I am aware, the system that you described was never a thing in either europe, middle east or north africa.
