  1. #2. Ok I would say I understand what he's saying. Yes, most sports are optimized for men because they are optimized for characteristics which are greater present in men: strength, stamina, fast thinking, etc. And no, putting basket lower won't help, in soccer it's literally on the ground and men still dominate. And while creating a sport averagely optimized for women is difficult, because of how men dominate by almost all characteristics, it's still possible, since women are averagely shorter and smaller than men. All we need to do is to design a sport in which being small is the main advantage. Actually such activity already exists. It's called caving. I don't remember women dominating in cave exploration though
