  6. ​ @Perdition84  pretty sure you're counting only taxes that you pay directly(or that are paid by employer on your behalf), but don't count ones that employer pays at the first stage of allocation income. This way for example russians think they pay 13% but irl they pay close to 40%

  8. ​ @Perdition84  ok, I googled it and on site called boundless found that employee pays: 8% for social security and 22% income tax plus additional supplements up to 17.4% You don't pay them only on first $19k of yearly income. On top of that, employer pays 14.1% for social security and supplementary pension 2% at least(up to 25%). So even the min wage worker de facto pays 8+22+14.1+2=46.1%
