  1. Interesting thing is that at least 1 other country developed a rocket interceptor -- Soviet Union. However during testing they found out that it(designation BI) tended to become uncontrollable and dive down to the ground. They also experienced problems with fuel(or maybe oxidizer). To be fair, idea may have not been completely dead, if Germans finished Ba-349 Natter it maybe could have been used successfully. Wasserfall missile was, however, a much more promising design.

  2. We need to always clarify, what do we mean by saying "best". There are 2 different definitions -- best as a part of war machine or best individually. From that second perspective there are lot of mistakes in this video. 1)A6m was outdated by the end of the war. Japan had 3 fighters that were capable of putting up a fight to any modern fighter at the end of the war -- Ki-84, N1K and J2M. 2)Yak planes were actually only good because of how cheap and easy to pilot they were. Their characteristics(aside from agility, which still was inferior to Japanese designs and Spitfire) we quite mediocre compared to best fighters from respective countries. If we are talking about best SU dogfighter, it definitely was La-5(later La-7). The other plane that Soviet Union had that could rival La-5 and 7 was P-39(later P-63) Aircobra(build in US, but mostly used by SU)
