Of course gun homicides and mass shootings will decrease if you take all of the guns. But cold weapons still exists. And homicides will be conducted by using those weapons. And when time came Australians could do nothing against armed police putting them into covid concentration camps. That's the main reason why people should have guns — to fight oppressive tyrannical government, or it will do whatever it wants and it will end up putting you in concentration camps like Australia or China or not allowing you to protect yourself(you literally go to jail for defending) like Russia, UK, France and others.
