  3.  @WestAirAviation  Interesting. I guess Homelander fell into so called "moderate knowledge trap". He probably knew about fly-by-wire(he's smart) but didn't knew a lot about plane design(he's not a genius). So he concluded: "oh i can't carry it, i can't fly all passengers one by one, nothing can be done here, let's fly home and have pizza, Maeve". What i'm interested is what he would do if some smart guy would jump to water just before the crash and survived.

  4.  @WestAirAviation  Not sure about that. 1) Most modern planes(at least western ones) have fly-by-wire only, so all fly control surfaces could be locked. 2) Even if they weren't, aircraft would roll and fall anyway
