@freedomfighter22222 Good points. Concerning "maybe another Sumy attack"... - Zolochiv. Keep an eye on Zolochiv. N-W of Kharkiv, 20 km from the border, center of the pocket or "bubble" that swings into the russian region of Belgorod. 10,000 inh. so the size of Vovochansk to the N-E of Kharkiv, or Avdiivka. The russians have amassed troops around the pocket. Ukraine 2 days ago started to evacuate the civilians from the town. That's several days after W. countries and 2 days after USA allowed weapons to be used inside russia. Despite this, the russians are planning something. This is the earliest I've seen the Ukrainians evacuate civilians until now. They are expecting something, and I guess something big.

@luffebassen Not just outside the city. Within the first couple of days (I believe it was on the very first day, I could be wrong), Spetsnaz forces had infiltrated Kyiv and fought a battle trying to capture Zelenskyy at one of the government palaces. As far as I know it was already here that also Wagner merc.s and Chechen Kadyrovites were involved. This is where Zelenskyy slipped out the back end of the palace and in the streets filmed with his phone adressing his nation stating that "he was still there and would keep on fighting" (I don't recall the precise wording). All those RU affiliated forces were eventually eliminated. At Hostomel airport at least 30 large RU transport planes were arriving with troops, vehicles and equipment. Those had to turn back to Belarus (and instead soon we saw the 64 km long column), as a couple of previously hidden UA howitzers bombarded the runway to render it useless. Had the RU on day one been successful in capturing Hostomel airport and land the planes as well as in capturing/ eliminating Zelenskyy, the prospects for a "victory in 3 days" would have been a lot different than as it turned out in the end. I have a fair number of accounts on all this on my old computer which I hope to get repaired soon.

15 countries have allowed their weapons to be used inside russia, some with restrictions, the vast majority without: The US, the UK, Canada, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Denmark, Norway (I think, not sure), Sweden, Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Chechia, and I think Spain too (reasonable since Spain is donating a Patriot system).

@ettoreatalan8303 And the first they got in 2022 was a package of 5,000 helmets from Germany. The rest of us spent over a month debating whether we should/ could donate our old stocks of Stinger missiles otherwise just waiting to be scrapped and destroyed. It took three months for the first US howitzers to be donated.

@mstevens7175 Yes, and thanks to the UK for that. It's not only absurd to give Ukraine weapons and then tell them they can't use them where the enemy is. It's also absurd to tell the Ukrainians they can't use them "inside rusha", not because of anything with the Ukrainians, but because of the relations we try to have with rusha. Because, as much as noone else recognises it, rusha illegally annexed Crimea in 2014 and four more Ukrainian regions in autumn 2022, so from a rushan perspective Western weapons have been used against and even fired from "inside rusha" for a very, very long time. For the rushans it doesn't matter if it's inside Kherson, Donetsk, Belgorod or Kursk. For them it's all inside rusha. So handcuffs off and let the Ukrainians fight the way they need to fight. And thanks to the UK.

@luffebassen dpelpal's usual point, or narrative, is rusha's plan to take "Kyiv in three days", and making fun of it. I've just finished watching a 1½ hour long interview with Danish professor in defense and strategy Peter Viggo Jakobsen. Peter used the same narrative, in his words "win the war in three days", I think 6 or 7 times. I don't think we should say about dpelpal that she's spreding false narratives. She's just making jokes of the rushans.

@dpelpal rusha is a paradox. A rus-troll has just accidentally happened to reveal to me "how boring rusha is" (in his opinion), the rusha they still want to spread by force to all around them. Still rusha is a joke. So it's kind of a paradox.
