@Iain1962 The USA has culturally and economically been involved with European countries for centuries and with the EU and the EEC before that and the coal and steal community before that. And you obviously have a lit of hatred of the EU. Let me guess you are British! So what is your long history with the USA. The war of independence and then the 1812 war when Britain tried to invade the US and burned down the Whitehouse. It also spent years trying to blockade the USA with everything from anti American laws to your navy acting like pirates against US commercial shipping. Lucky they had the French on their side! As the USA calls them. Their oldest allies. Don't be a hater

@Iain1962 People like you have been saying the EU/EEC would be crumbling any day now for 50 years. The EU will be around long after the uk crumbles. 56% of Scottish people want out of the uk it is basically 50/50 now in NI to leave the uk and it's even at 32% in wales to leave the uk! Little England just won't let go of its colonies sad really...
