  1. WTF did she expect?! Even if a couple gets married and have kids the kids needs should always come first. Once those needs are met then the child needs a example of a good relationship to emulate in the future. If she cannot understand this she is unable to be a mother or really just a reasonable human.

  2. Sounds like my ex, she lost her son because of that and he got to go back to his dad, was doing fantastic last I heard. Very proud of the father and son. But for the time he lost custody of his son it ruined him, I made sure he was able to be involved and the ex hated that but couldn't argue with it, she tried and I called her out on it.

No man ever convinced me not to date a single mom, a single mom did that all on her own. 4yrs with this psycho and all she wanted to do was use her son against his own dad and use me against him as well. It didn't work, I got her son into muay thai, his dad wanted to come and I encouraged it. I did my best to be a father figure and she was the single biggest hindrance of that, I was able to discipline, teach and guide him, but she would flip put and scream at him and put him down when he was 3yrs old... She used him and because she was such a horrible person when I left her she dated a dude she worked with (probably cheated but I dont know dor sure), they both got hooked on meth, she lost her job, lost her apartment and lost custody. Last I knew the boy was doing great and so was the dad, but losing custody of him for the time he did ruined him, me making sure he was there for his son gave him hope and as far as I know he did very well.

  5. There really needs to be more help for single fathers, I know some might take advantage of that, but if it helps more who do deserve it that would be absolutely worth it.

I noticed a lot of guys regret not talking to their dads more, mines getting up there and I'm a dad myself now so I thought it would be wise to be a man and not expect my dad to be a person I want him to be, but maybe be the encouragement he needs and be a good son and good man because I want to make my son proud.
