She was a career woman, he worked crap jobs for 15yrs. They got married when already old and gray. She divorced him because he made less than her, but claimed she supported him that 15yrs. In her comments to media she uses the word "moral" quite a lot, I never hear that word out of a vvomans mouth unless she's trying to guilt trip or defame someone, she knows she has no legal right to the money and said she would hope he would "do the moral thing" and give her some because as she put it she supported him, while reality is only that she made more than him. A lot of people in this comment section are showing that their gynocentric conditioning is still strong.

@matthewsukkau382 yup, during his 15yrs off and on employment he was also a stay at home dad, raised her kids so she could continue her career. So naturally because he was dumb enough to sacrifice for her, she thinks she better than him because all they think about is money, not the kids, not the man, not the fact that he married her at 38 when no one else would and likely after she had already drug some other sorry soul through the court system. I can't verify if the kids were his or not but I'm thinking they are not otherwise he would've had to pay child support or would've gotten custody and that would've absolutely been in at least one article.

@ingetout no, he didn't have a career, he worked multiple jobs during that time, she was the career woman, they married when they were old so a second marriage at least for her, not sure about him. She never asked for money but just didn't want to pay alimony, it was the media trying to incite hate against a old man who was basically retired.

@robertmaybeth3434 because he enabled that woman to pursue her career and focused his life on that working dead end jobs for 15yrs after marrying the old lady and was rewarded for it while she left him because he made less than her.

@JR-kv6ez no, if you do your research you'll find he held multiple jobs during that 15yr period and was a stay at home dad while she was a career woman who made substantially more than him, enough to the point that in the liberal state of NJ she had to pay him alimony. She was nearly 40 when they got married when the average marriage that ends in divorce lasts 8yrs which means she could've been married and divorced at least once already and in the photos from the day of their wedding both were already gray. There were literally no assumptions at all in that run on sentence.

Yes, getting married at 38 is old, and in their photos both were already gray. As of 2022 the average employee will stay with a employer for 4.3yrs and you're more likely to see pay increases by changing jobs than by staying with one employer. Additionally according to the AP he was a stay at home dad while the woman was the career holder. You cannot spin him as being some kind of deadbeat loser without holding a double standard and who takes up interviews with media just to go on about morality and how they've been wronged. It was absolutely a attempt at sympathy farming and incredible that he ever even got alimony to begin with which shows that she was making substantially more than him bare minimum. NJ is a liberal state, the chances he would win alimony there are more slim than many other states so I'm not buying her pity party and the red flags are all there.

That the news agency that was inciting her to sue him for his lottery winnings was lying about him being a stay at home dad to children that weren't his? Doesn't quite add up, decernment is a thing and if he didn't have any money of his own then why wouldn't she sue him for buying the ticket with her money? How did he have money for a lawyer to even get alimony?

So she says. But notice dude was having none of it, being around someone for 15yrs then suddenly no longer seeing them is weird, uncomfortable, messes up your sleep ect. I don't think she's telling the truth, it seems like she messed up bad for those years and is just slandering him to as many people as possible. I could be wrong, but that's also normal behavior I consider a default.

Yeah and considering how sure he was that he didn't want her back, and how sure she was that $265M didn't make him attractive, that relationship was breaking down for 15yrs.

This is the internet, no one here is claiming to know these people first hand and has to take what is said as face value, or, have no opinion at all. If you want to have no opinion at all that's fine, but then you're in no place to debate with others. By your logic, all of known history is simply meaningless and we shouldn't have a opinion of it since we have no first hand knowledge of it. @piscesmikey not to mention that he worked on and off, she even admitted this but his primary role was to take care of the kids that it seems were not even his (unless she was having kids at 38yrs old (yeah right)), so he sacrificed not simply a hourly wage, but a 401k, retirement plan ect so that her kids could have the investment they need from a father. He did what she could not do, and I wonder, where is the "unpaid labor" argument they so like to make in this man's case? If anything, she owes him.

8:11 Griff, stop believingthe first thing you hear especiallyif its from a jaded woman, he had jobs during that 15yrs just not a career, she was a career woman and made more money than him, and while i think men should always work to improve themselves, this guy was old when he purposed to her, its not like they got shacked up right out of high school so its not like she didnt have any understanding of reality. Additionally, the media was the one asking if he should pay, she just didnt want to pay alimony before. And, if the story isnt crazy enough, he forgot the tickets at the store and returned the next day to see if they had them, they did, he checked and he won, he gave the store clerk who kept them for him a unknown amount of money but seems to have changed his life as well. So while he may be lacking in ambition, you'll have to forgive a old man for that. She divorced over money, money was her focus, her love, her obsession, not love. So why should her lack of love and inability to commit to at least two marriages be rewarded? Sure she shouldn't have to pay alimony, but he shouldn't have to pay her a dime.
