I don't think Leo is looking for a deep connection, I think he's looking for a side piece to keep around for entertainment and that's it. I don't agree with his choices in this regard, but if he were looking for a lifelong companion he would probably be looking for a different type of women than the ones he accepts. But it is clear that he does kick them to the curb at 25 which he is well aware of and doing it intentionally and so it seems he's very aware of the type of women that are attracted to him and they aren't the long term type themselves, but rather the type that want to attain some status due to his status. So I don't feel bad for either of them, though, when he gets older, if he ever wants a long term relationship, he's definitely painted himself into a corner of getting only a certain type of woman, and as he ages he is probably aware that his fame will fade and he will end up without a woman of pretty much any kind.
