While I was thinking the same thing, I also realized that insurance companies take months to do things ( all the quotes and approvals necessary). These people’s homes and their things were all over the place. Knowing they are not alone and maybe finding a beloved momento are things the insurance company can’t do. Good to know we can do more and make a difference in our fellow man’s life if they want the help.

@Medsas Could be👍Good to check with specific ins co. My dear husband who passed, was very hands on. Chainsaw and all. We took very good photos and contacted ins co right away. Allstate was good. If we had not cleared large tree trunks and branches, we couldn’t go out our back door. Getting contractors to do anything here in Maine takes weeks to months. They are always so busy. Every situation is different.

@jodysweetg5344 I love how trees help each other too. Nature is magnificent and we are also part of nature. His home is on wheels and he was helping people in sticks and bricks. That was truly touching. One of the many advantages to home on wheels is you move it if you know tornado coming. I love shorter videos. He gets a lot in a shorter video. I’m sure he has plenty of video and edits it. It’s perfect to me😁
