@gabrielemazzotti6809 you do realize that in making up the claim that Ethiopia was colonized you're not just arguing with one online commentator but also with the general consensus of historians and publications don't you? Sure Italian forces occupied Ethiopia for a few years during WW2 just as Nazi Germany occupied France, Norway, Belgium, much of the Soviet Union and a number of other counties during WW2 but nobody seriously says that France, Norway, Belgium and the western part of the Soviet Union were colonized by Nazi Germany and in the same way nobody (except you) says that Ethiopia was colonized by the Italian government. But do feel free if you wish to travel to France, Norway, Belgium, etc and tell the people that once their countries were once German colonies and see what reception you get. Do let us know how that interaction turns out. Also do make an effort to travel to Germany and Japan and tell the people about the time they were American colonies as I assume that you think that when American forces were occupying Japan and Germany after WW2 those countries were American colonies. The people in Japan and Germany may have a different perspective on that but let us know how many friends you make in those countries with your claims. I suspect that the people in Japan and Germany will be quite surprised when you tell them that their countries were once American colonies.
