Just as important could be to avoid shopping at American owned stores or eating at American owned restaurants as much as possible. It is unfortunate that there is not a Canadian alternative to Google, Facebook etc that I'm aware of.

I don't believe for one second that Trump's will increase inflation by only 1%. That's nonsense. 25% tariffs on products from Mexico and Canada and 10% on products from China. That's going to be very painful for American consumers. Then we have Trump wanting to get rid of a lot of the migrant workers who pick the crops and work at slaughter houses and build homes for Americans. It's estimated that about 42% of agricultural workers are undocumented migrants. Take those workers away and the price of fruuts and vegetables and meat and new houses is going to jump dramatically if you're even to find those things to buy at all.
